Research
Report
by
James E. Clemens II
Would you like to see
the future of Microsoft computing, along with the newest products available
today?
Well, if you visit
Microsoft Research
where dreaming
& the impracticable are twisted into reality, you can! Microsoft Research is where the action is taking
place and it's a fun site to visit from time to time. You can learn about new technologies, as
well as checking out the white papers that Microsoft collaborated with product
groups and top universities for peer review.
These white papers and other published
reports are very valuable information
that Microsoft is sharing with the world at no cost. Some of the articles are written in
response to your submitted feedback to Microsoft, while others are the result of
Microsoft's Research Team searching for better ways for computers to work.
If you have ever wondered what happens with your
submissions, Microsoft Research is using it to better tomorrow's computing
experience! Now that's a good reason to
send in feedback and error reports to Microsoft, if there ever was one.
At Microsoft Research you will get to tour the lab & review the efforts underway
to improve and develop products for the next 2 – 10 years. You can verify
all the stories in the news about the Microsoft's developments. Trustworthy
information these days is rare and the Media does not report the whole story
when it comes to Microsoft and the new software being developed for your
machine. An excellent site to find facts and study credible research papers about computer
science.
Fast fact: Microsoft
Research & Development provides more than 1/3 of the worlds Malaria medical
funding.

Fast fact: Did you know that in 2004 Microsoft gave back 32.6 Billion in cash to its shareholders, almost
matching the total tax relief package of 38 Billion given by Bush in 2001.

The Bill & Melinda Gates
